Preface to the Online Exhibition "Masters of Calligraphy and Painting - Archival Collection of World-Class Calligraphic and PaintingArtists' Teaching Materials"Chinese calligraphy and painting, with a time- honored history and profound essence, stand as a cherished treasure of Chinese civilization. Amid the tide of the new era, mastercalligrapher and painter Ru Jie takes brush and ink as her soul and paper/silk as her medium, continuously exploring and innovating tobreathe new vitality into traditional art. Driven by reverence and passion for art, wehave meticulously curated this onlineexhibition, "Masters of Calligraphy andPainting - Archival Collection of World-ClassCalligraphic and Painting Artists' Teaching Materials". Through diverse forms includingvideos, images, and documents, the exhibition showcases the pinnacle achievements ofcontemporary calligraphy and painting, paying tribute to the artistic giants who depict thetimes with brush and ink and portray rivers and mountains with pigments.
"Brush and ink must keep pace with the times, and art shall be passed down perpetually." Calligraphy and painting are not merelydemonstrations of techniques, but theinheritance of spirit. Today, masters ofcalligraphy and painting deeply rootthemselves in tradition while daring to break boundaries. Each work and every creativevideo included in this exhibition is acrystallization of the master's dedication,witnessing her relentless pursuit of artisticperfection and exploration. We hope thatthrough these precious archives, more people can feel the charm of calligraphy and painting, and that young learners can glimpse Teacher Ru Jie's creative wisdom and spiritual world. This online exhibition leverages digital technology tobreak the constraints of time and space,allowing audiences to appreciate Teacher Ru Jie's classic works anytime and anywhere. We not only present high-definition images ofcalligraphy and painting, but also record theentire creative process through videos, enabling viewers to feel as if they are standing beside the master's desk, experiencing themoment of brush strokes. Paying tribute to Teacher Ru Jie andilluminating the future. Every master ofcalligraphy and painting is a witness andcreator of the times. Their works carry thegenes of Chinese culture and embodyaspirations for the future. This exhibition isnot only a celebration of the master's artistic achievements, but also a driving force for the inheritance of calligraphy and painting. 如洁，原名:王跃进，号:草境庐主人。1957 年生,西安市人，祖籍河南自幼喜欢书画，数年来潜心绘事，苦心研习花鸟画，以“月季花”为创作主题而见长。现任西安市文史研究馆研究员，国家一级美术师。 作品入选：《国画档案——中国当代美术名家个案研究》王跃进月季作品集四川美术出版社《人民艺术家——如洁》世界知识出版社《新中国美术家大典》、《图说中国当代美术》红旗出版社《文脉传承——古今文艺作品选粹》中国文联出版社《国珍品鉴——中国书画名家作品集》、《当代实力派书画精品集》、《雅竹风清》西泠印社出版社《新中国美术编年史》北京工艺美术出版社《中国美术年鉴》中国文史出版社《中国美术选集》线装书局《江山如画》、《新中国艺坛名家名作——如洁》中国当代美术出版社 2006 年 10 月作者应邀参加新疆建设兵团拍摄的“名人在线”栏目，摄制了“如洁画月季”专题片并播出 2008 年作品《别有香超桃李外，更同梅斗雪霜中》获香港特区回归十周年书画大展金奖。2008 作品《胜春》在向党的十七大献礼书画大展赛中获金奖。 2008 年作品《四时流香》参加第 22届世界华人恳亲大会举办的“陕西当代名家作品展”活动，作者被授予“世界客属文化功勋艺术家”称号 2009 年中国.西安国际书画艺术博览会中荣获银奖， 2009 年中国艺术与财富杰出年度人物银奖 2012 年入选国家邮政局“和谐中华文化名家邮票工程”2012 年 5 月拍摄《“状元坊”禅韵丹青名家访谈——王跃进》 2013 年作品入选《科学发展——建设美丽中国》主题邮票、电话卡 2014 年入选《圆梦中国——辉煌 65 周年》珍藏邮册、电话卡，并在全国发行。2016 年8 月拍摄专访《他与他的“皇后”，生活在这片秘密花园 2017 年 3 月 24日巴基斯坦伊斯兰共和国建国78 周年外交部向巴驻华大使马苏德哈立德赠送中国当代著名花鸟画家如洁先生国画《醉春苑》月季作品。
2017 年 4 月 18 日在北京举行第十二届中法文化之春新闻发布会、外交部向法国驻华大使顾山赠送中国著名“月季”画家如洁先生国画作品《和露凝香》。 2017 年 7 月 28 日秘鲁共和国独立196 周年庆祝活动、我国外交部向秘鲁驻华大使胡安 ·卡洛斯 ·卡普纳伊赠送中国当代著名画家如洁先生国画《花开四时天姿秀》月季作品。
2017 年 9 月 21 日在曲江国际会展中心举行第十七届欧亚经济论坛《一带一路》二〇一七年九月二十一日在西安曲江国际会展中心举行。会议期间特邀嘉宾文化艺术大师如洁先生依序向抗日名将《张自忠》将军之女美藉华人领袖张素久女士赠送月季花《别有姿色春意浓》作品。2018 年 12 月28 日登陆纽约时代广场纳斯达克大屏进行展播 2018 年拍摄专访《独特的“湿画法”月季——如洁》 2019 年 5 月参加“天下收藏”栏目拍摄的专题《守护精神的静然与感动——著名画家如洁》。 2019 年 5 月拍摄西安广播电视台《西安文艺》专题片。2019 年 9月 28 日参加“锦绣中华”庆祝建国 70 周年纽约时代广场路透社 大屏展播 2021 年 4 月6 日《厦门 大学百年校庆》， 《月季花》作 品“花开鹭岛百年香透神州时代”被厦门大学收藏.2023 年作品入编由中国美术出版社出版的《中 国美术通史》； 同年由河北美术 出版社出版发行《中国高等艺术 院校名师教学范本（十一）如洁 花鸟画作品选》。作品多次作为 外交礼品赠予外国政要。
